Cristiano Ronaldo is an unmistakable figure to sports fans all over the world, but it wasn't the case in his early days, as Spanish TV once confused him for another player.
Sporting CP faced Real Betis in a pre-season friendly in 2002 and a 17-year-old Cristiano came off the bench to score in a 3-2 win for his side.
"What a goal to seal the game from Custodio," the commentator said.
"A splendid goal from Custodio," he repeated.
Rather than a mispronunciation however, it was a case of mistaken identity, as Custodio was a teammate of Cristiano's at Sporting.

That's the biggest mistake that commentator ever made, and now CR7 came out to prove who's name is Cristiano Ronaldo rather than just a mere Custodio.....
