Where is Euro 2021 being played: countries and stadiums?

Breakdown of the famous football grounds that will host the UEFA European Football Championship's groups and knockout stage games this summer.

For the first time in its 60-year old history of playing, the football European Championships will be contested in several host countries across the continent. The idea came up when various joint bids were presented for the EURO2020 bidding process. UEFA managed to find "a Solomon solution" and in December 2012 announced that the 2020 tournament will be hosted in a handful of European cities, with the semi-finals and final being played in London.

The final tournament dates are 11th of June to 11th of July 2021, reminding us that the original dates of the competition had to be postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

- Bucharest (Romania) – National Arena Bucharest

- Copenhagen (Denmark) – Parken Stadium

- London (England) – Wembley Stadium

- Munich (Germany) – Football Arena 

- Rome (Italy) – Stadio Olimpico

- Saint Petersburg (Russia) – Saint Petersburg Stadium

- Seville (Spain) – Estadio La Cartuja

The host nations that qualified via the European Qualifiers have guaranteed the right to play all three group stage games at home. As Russia and Denmark both secured their spot at UEFA EURO 2020 through the Qualifiers, an additional draw was held to decide which team plays all three group stage games at home; Denmark will have three group home matches and Russia two.
