very exciting questions... I felt being in the shoes of the players and coaches while answering those questions...then you realize how difficult it is to make some choice

Scoring winning pens is so basic. โBe the goalkeeper that makes the crucial saveโ. Thatโs way more exciting

I can see by the responses of fans here that fair play or for the good of the game, good role model, beautiful and spectacular football, raising young talent and turning them to superstars and other values don't mean much to majority of football followers. What I see is people prefer coaches that win trophies and players that score goals that win games and titles. We care less about coaches in relatively poor clubs but their making exploits based on the scarce resources they have at their disposal. We also don't care of the conduct of players on and off the pitch, as long as they score goals and win titles, we are ok with that and not bothered even if their conduct presents them as bad role model for the young and up coming ones. So disturbing.

certain fanbase spitting lies ๐ imagine after Julian Alvarez win the world cup, and he'll never play club football again. will your country pay you salary?? do deceive yourself with lies ๐ Even the great Messi once retired from national team but it never crossed his mind to quit club football.

I think you are the one making it about fans picking sides. This is a matter of choice, the World Cup is the most prestigious trophy in the world. Football isnโt just about the money, no African nation has ever won the World Cup before. As a Nigerian and an African, Iโll definitely pick winning the World Cup over playing for clubs again. Itโs not just about myself but imagining the joy it will bring to the continent. Not to talk of how youโd be forever remembered as one of the first to do it.
