Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus has announced he is bidding for Inter Milan.
The Finn made an attempt for Manchester United earlier this year and has now declared he is in talks with Suning to buy Inter.
Zilliacus has revealed he's spoken with Sheikh Jassim and the prospect of a joint-bid is on the table.
He told Helsingin Sanomat: "I want to buy Inter with my XXI Century Football Capital fund and with the inner circle of Jassim Bin Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jaber Al Thani who I contacted on Monday to start talks and put together our resources.
"The talks with Steven Zhang and Suning will take place behind closed doors and the results will be announced in due course. Our final purchase price is one billion euros.
"Zhang wants to sell, but only to those who are serious about making Inter even stronger."

Will be nice if something happens because the Italian teams need some more investment and Inter in particular. Zhang is doing an OK-ish job but to bring Inter back on top a bit more money for improvements is needed. This guy talks a bit too much about what his plan is and most of the time it is better to stay quiet and work on the objectives, when the job is done to talk and celebrate, but that's my opinion of course 🤷🏻♂️
