Özcan will leave & Dortmund could have signed Cherki by including him+10m

According to BILD, Dortmund originally planned to sign Cherki with Özcan + 10 million euros

In the summer of 2024, there were considerations to include Salih Özcan in a possible Rayan Cherki deal. Then Dortmund would only have had to pay a little over 10 million euros. However, Nuri Sahin had reservations at the time due to Cherki's character. 

Now Özcan has decided to see out his time at Borussia Dortmund until the summer and then move on a free transfer.
