The former Arsenal captain has been linked with a Premier League return at Sunderland, while Juventus and AC Milan are also keen on the midfielder
"There is interest, but nothing concrete so far," Rolfes told BILD.
"We're in the process of completing the squad, obviously. Granit plays an important role in this process, so it won't be a matter that drags on throughout the transfer window."
He then added: "There will still be some changes, but at some point the squad will have to be 95% complete. And Granit is a key part of all of this. So the decision will come sooner rather than later."
