Bayern Munich have suffered a defensive injury blow ahead of Saturday night’s Der Klassiker clash with Borussia Dortmund, with Joshua Kimmich to miss out with injury.
Kimmich, who has not missed a single match this season, is suffering with an upset stomach. and hasn't travelled to Dortmund, the club confirmed on Friday afternoon.
The defender has already chipped in with three assists and scored once in the Bundesliga this season as Bayern head to Dortmund sitting pretty at the top of the Bundesliga.
Germany’s record champions are also without Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Juan Bernat and Franck Ribery for the visit to the Signal Iduna Park.
