"He has tried four or five times to set up a meeting with me. I told him I will be available on September 2 at 14:30," said Uli Hoeness.
Robert Lewandowski’s name has been linked, summer after summer, with Real Madrid. And the Bayern Munich striker tried to shake things up this winter in a bid to make the move a reality, changing his agent and putting his future in the hands of Pini Zahavi, who was involved in the deal to take Neymar to PSG from Barcelona.
However, Bayern are doing everything in their power to resist. “Not even for 150 million euros” slammed Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Bayern’s bosses have decided to stand strong in the face of any move for their Polish striker and to avoid the possibility of even being tempted, they are actively avoiding any meeting with Zahavi.
Bayern avoiding Zahavi until transfer window shuts
Aware of the nature of Zahavi’s request and that he is the only person capable of shaping Lewandowski’s future away from the Allianz Arena, Bayern president Uli Hoeness told Sky Sports last weekend: “The only thing we don’t have any control over is his agent, but we have not given him the opportunity to speak. He has tried four or five times to set up a meeting with me. I told him that I will be available on September 2 at 14:30.” That is to say, after the transfer window in Spain is safely shut for the summer. “We have decided to remain firm in our stance.”
The Bayern president went on to suggest that Lewandowski would be better off without the presence of his agent: “If he can drop this baggage that his adviser has given him, it’ll be Bayern’s best signing.”
Hoeness’ desire may have to wait though, after Lewandowski signed a new deal with Zahavi running until 2020. The Poland striker is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2021, when he will be approaching his 33rd birthday.

Somebody tell Pini Zahavi that this is Bayern München..not some PL clubs.. His old agents got that already so they quit(sacked I know).. Yo goal machine..leave that thought of changing your destination after that bad world cup..rather stay here and prove them wrong again Lewa..
