Chelsea duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino are wanted by BORUSSIA Dortmund in a double deal.

The Bundesliga side have been trying to renegotiate a transfer for Chukwuemeka despite an inauspicious loan spell last season but Chelsea have insisted on a permanent sale only.

Dortmund have now returned to the table with a proposal to sign Anselmino on loan and a permanent transfer for Chukwuemeka.

The 21-year old Chukwuemeka joined Chelsea from Aston Villa and is valued close to his £40million buy out figure.

Juventus, West Ham, Red Bull Leipzig and Nottingham Forest are among a lengthy list of clubs to have shown interest.

Anselmino, a defender, joined Chelsea a year ago from Boca Juniors for £15.6m and has been used during pre-season but the belief is he will benefit from more regular competitive game time elsewhere.

Coach Enzo Maresca said: 'Aaron is training with us, fantastic player, good boy but he needs to play games. He is another player who needs to find a solution.'

There is a limited chance for players to leave on overseas loan moves as Fifa limit overseas loanees to six players with four spots already filled.

Chelsea want Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho and RB Leipzig's attacking midfielder Xavi Simons.

But they to sell striker Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, while academy graduate Tyrique George is being allowed to explore both loan and permanent moves away.

Bournemouth target Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Alex Matos, Alfie Gilchrist and David Datro Fofana are also all for sale.
