Commission fees to sign Haaland could rise to 40m euros

Erling Haaland is in demand, but signing him won't be at all cheap.

In addition to paying a transfer fee to Borussia Dortmund, there would be a significant amount demanded in commissions.

According to RAC1, Barcelona were told during their meeting on Thursday with the player's agent Mino Raiola and father Alf-Inge Haaland that commission fees could be as much as 40 million euros. They reportedly want 20m euros each.

That would be in addition to the transfer fee and the 30m euros in wages that Haaland would want to be paid.

It has also been reported that Haaland would want Lionel Messi to still be at Barcelona for him to put pen to paper on a move to the Camp Nou.

Joan Laporta wants to make a statement signing this summer and Haaland is his priority, something he explained to the forward's representatives during their meeting on Thursday.
