Here we go! According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Jobe Bellingham is set to join Borussia Dortmund. The transfer fee is reported to be €33 million plus €5 million in add-ons.
Romano reports that Jobe Bellingham will sign for Borussia Dortmund — Here we go! Sunderland will receive a fixed fee of €33 million, with an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses. The deal also includes a 15% sell-on clause.
This will become the most expensive outgoing transfer in Sunderland’s history. Previously, the club had rejected a €20 million offer from Dortmund.
The 19-year-old Jobe Bellingham is the younger brother of Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, who played for Borussia Dortmund from 2020 to 2023.
