Romeo Lavia looks set to follow Moises Caicedo through the door at Chelsea, but Todd Boehly has been encouraged to sign one more player to top off a fantastic summer transfer window

Jamal Musiala has sent Chelsea supporters into a frenzy after leaving a comment under a Levi Colwill's latest Instagram post. The Bayern Munich star hasn't looked back since he swapped Stamford Bridge for the Allianz Arena in 2019, growing into one of Europe's most exciting young midfielders.

Until the age of seven, Musiala lived in Germany, winning numerous tournaments as a junior with TSV Lehnerz. Then, a few years later, he travelled to relocated on the south coast of England where he would continue his development – although not for footballing reasons.

His mum, Carolin, enrolled in a four-month Erasmus programme at the University of Southampton as part of a master's degree at Frankfurt's Goethe University. Musiala eventually caught the eye of Chelsea, where earned his stripes at Cobham training ground until deciding to return to his homeland and join Bayern at the age of 16.

While the Bundesliga champions have shown no sign of selling the 20-year-old, some Blues supporters want Mauricio Pochettino to sign him next. And, Musiala's comment under Colwill's latest Instagram post has sparked fresh speculation that a move to Chelsea could be on the cards.

A Twitter user by the name of @MauricioPanini noticed the Germany international's social media activity and tweeted: "Musiala better be careful flirting with Chels players on Instagram comments. Give us one more sign and we’ll sign you as well fella."

The post quickly racked up thousands of likes, while Chelsea fans flooded the replies with various messages of support and propaganda. Nonetheless, it must be said that Musiala and Colwill are good friends having grown up together in the Blues academy.

In November 2022, Gary Neville told Bein Sports that he admires the £129million-rated Bayern star for leaving the west London outfit in search of first-team football. The former Manchester United defender said: "I admire these lads that leave.

"Sancho leaving [Manchester City], Musiala leaving [Chelsea]. I think the fact that they are willing to go to Germany. To Dortmund and to Bayern Munich and experience that different level.

"Bellingham at Birmingham. Manchester United had Bellingham in the building. In front of all the top brass at Man United and he choose to go to Dortmund. But look at him now."
