Liverpool are swatting away Bayern Munich's interest in Luis Diaz after insisting the Colombian forward is not for sale.
Mail Sport understands the Premier League title holders have received no formal offers from Bayern, despite the latest reports in Germany claiming that the Bundesliga giants have submitted an offer of €52m (£44m) for the star.
Liverpool will continue to repeat their stance on Diaz, which is that he is categorically not for sale. It is understood the Reds are now refusing to entertain any discussion surrounding Diaz's immediate future, other than continuing to outline their position.
The Merseyside club has no intention of discussing any future bids with the German giants as they are eager to keep Diaz as part of Arne Slot's ranks next campaign.
According to reports in Germany, Vincent Kompany was prepared to pay up to €60m (£51.6m) to lure him to Bayern.
Diaz, whose contract expires in 2027, has attracted a wealth of interest from top European clubs this summer including both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, while also drawing the attention of teams in Saudi Arabia.
The forward has previously urged he is 'very, very happy' with the Reds, having played a major role in their second Premier League title triumph last campaign.
Across all competitions last term, the 28-year-old star chalked up 25 goal contributions in 50 appearances for Liverpool.
He recently said: 'I'm very, very happy in Liverpool. From day one, they've made me feel really welcome.
'Right now we're in contact with them because we're speaking with [other] clubs. It's normal, the market is open, and we're trying to sort out what's best for us.
'I am just waiting to see what happens. If Liverpool doesn't make a good offer, I still have two years left with them, I would be happy and content to stay there. And that's it, everything depends on them obviously, it's up to me to decide what's best for us.'
Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in January 2022 for an initial fee of £37.5m.
He has gone on to be an important player, playing 148 times, and became the second Colombian player ever to win the Premier League after Juan Cuadrado achieved the feat with Chelsea.
