Really cool to see these players attend the press conference, which isn't usual for players to do. Rafinha has been a key player. Not an easy position to be in, to consistently be the backup, almost never first choice. He's always pulled through for us, and yes he has his msitakes and flaws, but ultimately he was a great player to have, as evident by the players that showed up to his last press conference.

This is touching. He is a BAYERN PLAYER THROUGH AND THROUGH. And that's why he deserves more recognition and respect.

I think every team, every locker room needs a personality like Rafinha. He might not be the best fullback in the world but he’s given everything to the team. You can tell he means a lot to those players!

I think Rafinhas career is one that sort of spoiled towards the end. I'd argue that if he were more like Robben or Ribery, put in a stellar performance every now and then compared to mildly adequate performances frequently people would have a much higher opinion of him. He's an absolute workhorse, gave everything for the club, and I am sad to see him go. He's known for a while that he has been more of a backup player, particularly during the Lahm -> Kimmich transition, and yet he still gave it his all when he was called upon. People get caught up on his errors but overlook the errors of other players who have more frequent world class performances. Thank you Rafinha.

Not really a suprise. Though he will always be part of our heart. He might not have been the best player of all time but he gave us 8 years of service and became one of the nicest people in our squad. He is one of the best "supporters" I have ever seen and I hope he will be able to move either to brazil to play at home or go to china so none of his kinsman have ever to live in poverty. What a great human being.

He's one of the most reliable backups in the world, he has excelled as a substitute and oftentimes played like he deserved a start. His stumbles aren't enough to overshadow his good contributions. Even though he has proven that he is good, he has never asked for more than what he had, his gratefulness makes you cry.
