In his latest podcast, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that Jeremie Frimpong is very likely to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
Romano revealed that Frimpong’s release clause is around €35 million, and with additional solidarity payments to his former clubs, the total cost of the transfer will approach €40 million.
Frimpong believes this summer is the right time for a move, and Liverpool have shown genuine interest in the Dutch wing-back. Other clubs are also reportedly keen on signing him.
