According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are negotiating with Bayer Leverkusen over the payment structure of Jeremie Frimpong’s €35 million release clause.
Talks are progressing as Liverpool aim to sign the 24-year-old right wing-back. Discussions are also ongoing with the player’s camp, and Frimpong is reportedly eager to join the Reds.
The Dutch international currently has a market value of €50 million on Transfermarkt.
