According to Italian journalist Schira on May 11, , Bayern is close to extending Laimer's contract to 2029, with an additional one-year optional extension.
The reporter said: "Exclusive news - Konrad Laimer is close to extending his contract with Bayern until 2029, with an annual salary of 6 million euros, with an option to extend until 2030."
It is reported that Laimer's current contract with Bayern is until June 2027.
