Spurs want to sign £69.2m Kolo Muani as dream Kane replacement

Harry Kane could complete a summer transfer to Bayern Munich and Tottenham have already identified their priority target to be his replacement amid a big Man Utd decision.

With all those possibilities on the table, his immediate future appears very unclear, but numerous updates have now come to light which hints a move to Bayern is currently more likely than anything else. According to The Telegraph, Spurs owner Joe Lewis is understood to have informed Levy that he is not prepared to let the England international run down his contract and leave as a free agent next summer.

Kane signing a new contract will rely heavily on the ambition shown in the remainder of the window and the early domestic performances of the Postecoglou era. Bayern now also look set to test Levy's resolve for Kane with an improved bid in the region of €100million (£86.5million) set to be submitted soon, as per CBS journalist Ben Jacobs.

When locked in these kinds of transfer battles, having contingency plans that suit every possible outcome is of high importance and Spurs now look to have put one in place if Kane departs. According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani will be their priority to sign as a replacement for Kane.

Frankfurt have set their asking price at €80million (£69.2million) and the 24-year-old is said to be keen on sealing a summer departure from the Deutsche Bank Park. Talks with the players representatives and Spurs are said to have already begun.

Manchester United have also shown an interest in the forward, but are now focusing their efforts on Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund with BBC reporter Simon Stone claiming the Red Devils will not make a move for Kane or Kylian Mbappe this summer.
