Mathys Tel has revealed the key role Harry Kane played in convincing him to join Tottenham on deadline day.

Tel, 19, made a stunning U-turn in the final hours of the transfer window as he agreed to move to Spurs on loan from Bayern Munich for the rest of the season just days after rejecting the north London club.
The striker has now opened up on how a conversation with Spurs legend and Bayern team-mate Kane helped change his mind.
In a video released on Tottenham's official X account, Tel was asked whether he had spoken to Kane about the club.
Tel replied: 'He told me this is a big club with a lot of very good people. The pitch is very nice, the training centre is very good and if you go there you can enjoy it.
'Everything was positive from Harry Kane.'

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal had all shown interest in signing Tel, but he has chosen to finish the campaign at Spurs despite their struggles under Ange Postecoglou this season.
Tel has been limited to just two league starts at Bayern this term, but will hope to play a far bigger role at Tottenham in the coming months.
The Frenchman is capable of playing across the front line, and could be thrown straight into the team due to Dominic Solanke currently being sidelined through injury.
Spurs have a huge week coming up as they face Liverpool in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Thursday before travelling to Aston Villa in the FA Cup three days later.
Tottenham won the first leg 1-0 against Liverpool and will look to hold on to their advantage to book their place in next month's final at Wembley.
Pressure has been mounting on Postecoglou in recent weeks, but his side picked up a crucial 2-0 win over Brentford on Sunday, and will now turn their attention to cup competitions as they bid to end their 17-year wait for silverware.

mostly man u and arsenal fans are bitter in the comments section 🤣🤣 the boy rejected man u arsenal and Chelsea for Tottenham and your attacking him on the basis of trophies. don't mix emotions with football, this is a great deal because tel will have great game time which he really wanted plus it's a loan deal not Permanent. why would he join man u who currently on 13th with a confused coach and player's fighting over a system 🤣 at arsenal he will be benched same as Chelsea so why attack him for joining a place where he will probably be important in the team
