AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori: Facing Liverpool and Arsenal ideal preparation

AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori is happy with their midseason training camp in Dubai.

Tomori admits he enjoyed his World Cup break.

"I relaxed," he said. "This season is like this. Now we must be ready for the next games. I can't wait to play the first game in Salerno. Today we recovered Bennacer and Bakayoko and some players from the World Cup. We are ready and excited.

"It's fair we have had time to relax and recover, but now we have to work to be ready for the first game."

Milan will face Arsenal and Liverpool in the Dubai Super Cup.

"We know that Arsenal is doing a very well in the Premier League championship; I know their players and also those from Liverpool. Playing against these two teams is the best way for us to prepare: they are strong, so we can resume rhythm and winning mentality, understanding where to improve for games after the stop. I can't wait to play."
