Alphonse Areola bounced back from criticism over his picture alongside his former teammates Kylian Mbappe and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting following Real Madrid's 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
The French goalkeeper took to social media to ensure that no one can question his devotion and engagement to Los Blancos.
"I can't bear the slightest doubt about my motivation, loyalty and involvement with Real Madrid," Areola posted on Instagram.
"I am sad about some comments on social networks.
"My heart is white since I signed for this club and the defeat has affected me as well as everyone.
"After the game I had a reunion with my former teammates and friends as I wasn't given time to say goodbye to them.
"Therefore, I reiterate my apologies to the Madrid fans who have felt offended.
"It was not my wish and I hope that together we can achieve many successes."

He must be the first choice in RM, I know he is not one of the best in the world, but believe me, he is the best goalkeeper we have. Courtois is the biggest waste of money I ever seen.
