Lucas Biglia is back in the Milan party for the crunch trip to Atalanta tomorrow evening, while the hosts have a practically complete squad.
Argentina international Biglia has not played since his knee injury in October, but has slowly been reintroduced to training sessions.
Andrea Conti is eager to start against his former club, although Davide Calabria is tipped to get the nod at right-back.
Cristian Zapata – who is the cousin of Atalanta hitman Duvan – is out injured along with Mattia Caldara, Giacomo Bonaventura and Ivan Strinic.
Atalanta’s only real injury concern is for Berat Djimsiti, so they are leaning towards Gianluca Mancini in defence rather than the more experienced Andrea Masiello.
Atalanta squad for Milan: Barrow, Berisha, Castagne, De Roon, Djimsiti, Freuler, Gollini, Gomez, Gosens, Hateboer, Ibanez, Ilicic, Kulusevski, Mancini, Masiello, Palomino, Pasalic, Pessina, Reca, Rossi, Toloi, Duvan Zapata
Milan squad for Atalanta: A Donnarumma, G Donnarumma, Plizzari; Abate, Calabria, Conti, Laxalt, Musacchio, Rodriguez, Romagnoli; Bakayoko, Bertolacci, Biglia, Kessie, Mauri, Montolivo, Paquetá; Borini, Calhanoglu, Castillejo, Cutrone, Piatek, Suso
