Barcelona female the first female club to clock over 2m followers on instagram

The team has exceeded the figure of two million followers in their Instagram account

The season of the Barca female has been characterized by record breaking. It is no longer only attendance at matches, goals or the highest performance of its footballers, but it has also transcended social networks, positioning itself as the women's team with the most follow-up, reaching two million followers on Instagram.

They have outperformed historical women's football teams, such as Wolfsburg, Arsenal and Olympique, which do not reach those numbers. The French women are the ones that approach the most with 1,300,000, although in their case, they share Instagram with the men's section. 

English female reach 849,000. And the German ones, they barely reach 50,000.
