Chelsea earned a 5-0 win in their opening pre-season friendly against Wrexham, with Conor Gallagher, Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chilwell scoring in the second period as Mauricio Pochettino made a whole host of changes
Jamie Cumming - Continued in goal and had very little to deal with. 6.
Alfie Gilchrist - Showed plenty of flexibility as he fluidly moved betwee being a right back and on the right of a back three depending on the phase of play. Last ditch recovery in the 70th minute to help deny a Wrexham goal, and made another big block in the final five. 7.
Trevoh Chalobah - Secure and alert in the second period as his relationship with Bashir Humphreys grew. 6.
Bashir Humphreys - Looked very at home between Chalobah and Ben Chilwell and seamless moved to the right when required. 6.
Ben Chilwell - Was tasked with a diverse set of responsibilities from full back as he both settled into midfield and provided a vast amount of width high up the pitch for the Blues. Produced a very good dinked finish in stoppage time. 7.
Conor Gallagher - A steady outing for the midfielder and he capped his perfromance off with a shot from distance through a number of bodies. Rob Lainton may have done better. 6.
Andrey Santos - The Brazilian continued in the same role in the second period albeit only for another 15 minutes. Showed good ability to turn 180 degrees with the ball. 6.
Cesare Casadei - Played a much more advanced role in the second period and did look capable of making the difference at times. Received a yellow card for an unncessary foul. 6.
Angelo Gabriel - Produced a fantastic delivery from the right for Raheem Sterling who could not finish. Showed some good flashes and produced a very good assist to Chilwell at the death. 6.
Christopher Nkunku - Struggled to get involved in his first Chelsea appearance as he lead the frontline in the second period. Plenty of time required for both him and the players behind him to learn how to interact. Showed composure when he got a chance to carry the ball and produce a good finish. 6.
Raheem Sterling - Showed good work-rate but a lack of polish in his performance. 5.
Lewis Hall - The youngster came on in with just shy of half an hour to play and was provided his first opportunity in the centre of midfield since playing Liverpool in January. Settled into the base well and showed his comfort on the ball which is always present. 6.
Lucas Bergstrom - Replaced Cumming with 15 minutes to go and it wasn't long before he was forced into save and he got down well to Bill Waters' header. 6.
Marc Cucurella - Came on for the final five minutes after already playing in the first half. Replaced Chalobah and slotted into central defence. 6.
