It has been 25 years since Raul Gonzalez debuted with Real Madrid's first team under Jorge Valdano as the Argentine bet on him and he was rewarded for his trust,
Now Raul is eyeing a new promotion, as he wants to impress in charge of Castilla to get the big job at Real Madrid.
Valdano has said that "Real Madrid will find their [Pep] Guardiola" in the ex-forward and here we look at the others to take the step up.
Miguel Munoz
Miguel Munoz spent 10 seasons as a Real Madrid player and oversaw Castilla before taking the job.
He had 16 uninterrupted seasons on the bench, lifting two European Cups, nine league titles, an intercontinental title and two Copa del Rey titles.
Amancio Amaro
After his retirement and spell with the youth team that saw them crowned Segunda champions, Amancio Amaro took the job.
He ended his first season on the bench with the league title and a European crown.
Juan Ramos Lopez Caro
After two failed attempts, he took Castilla to the Segunda with some talented players such as Alvaro Arbeloa, Juan Mata, Alvaro Negredo and others.
He then succeeded Vanderlei Luxemburgo in charge of the first team, but didn't last long.
Zinedine Zidane
A season and a half with Castilla was enough before the top job.
He took over midway through the season and won the Champions League immediately, going on to win three in a row.
He conquered LaLiga Santander, two Club World Cups, a UEFA Super Cup and a Supercopa de Espana.
He left, but now he's back.
Santiago Solari
With the club in crisis last season, they opted for the familiar strategy again and Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui.
He steadied things initially, but it felt apart again after a while.

Why All Football app still want to sack Zidane? What does he have to prove to you what he is worth? After all what he has already done and still doing. Bad moments happen to every coach and the case of Zidane is far to be classified in bad. He is building a team.
