Federico Dimarco could be set to leave Inter for Hellas Verona during this transfer window according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The clubs are in ongoing contact over the 22-year-old full back and Inter – and the player for that matter – appear open to getting a deal done. The report does not however specify if it is a loan move or a permanent move being discussed.

Dimarco showed a lot of promise when coming through the youth ranks at Inter but has been unable to live up to that promise and force his way into the Inter first team.

He has been limited to just two appearances this season, with both of those appearances coming as a substitute and with Inter on the look out for a new left back, he will only be pushed further down the pecking order.

The report goes on to explain that before being able to sign Dimarco, the Gialloblu will have to move Luigi Vitale on. The 32-year-old has played just three matches this season across all competitions and could be moved to a club in Serie B.
