Manuel Neuer named best goalkeeper of the decade by IFFHS

Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer has been chosen as the best goalkeeper over the last decade by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

The best shot-stopper from the period of 2011 to 2020 was the 34-year-old Neuer, who won the World Cup with Germany, eight Bundesliga titles, six DFB-Pokal trophies, six DFL-Supercups, two European Super Cups, two Champions Leagues and one Club World Cup over the last decade.

The ranking was decided on a points basis, and Gianluigi Buffon placed second behind Neuer with 148 points to the German's 183. Real Madrid and Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois took third place with 130.

Two Spaniards also feature on the list, with David de Gea occupying eighth place on 75 points and Iker Casillas in tenth with 67.

The most consistent goalkeeper since 2012 from losing final, winning 2013 final .... to finishing decade by winning it again and accomplishing 2 trebles in the decade . Sometimes it was De Gea, Navas, Buffon, Oblak , Allison but you remained consistent throughout this decennary span of time . Much deserved

brainless barka dog courtois was way better than ter stegen in the last decade be has won world cup gloves, premier league golden glove zamora in la liga in two years which ter stegen is yet to win. Courtois was statistically the best keeper last year while ter stegen had a 50 percennt save percentage. Courtois was once in the fifa Best xi was her stegen ever cry barka dog
