Lionel Messi bags another trophy into his cabinet as his free-kick goal against Liverpool has been voted as UEFA Goal of the Season 2018/19.
The Barcelona ace curled a beautiful free-kick past Alisson Becker, arguably the best goalkeeper last season, in the UCL semi-final against Liverpool.
Messi's goal beat Ronaldo's volley against Manchester United in the vote to win the prize.

To say the fact am truly happy that messi goat this award,he deserves also the ballon or d.Messi did alot for european football last season top scorer in UCL,top scorer in la liga despite him playing less matches,european golden boot winner.Some may say that he failed to win with Argentina,truth be told messi always tries to win with Argentina thats why he doesn't give up playing for Argentina.Just rememeber what he did in la liga and UCL he scored goals last season.Also barca were eliminated by liverpool i think messi deserves some credit for what he has done.This is the only way you can appreciate a player who makes football enjoyable.Fact file
