Cristiano Ronaldo won't be picking up a sixth Champions League trophy this season after Ajax's 2-1 win in Turin on Tuesday night.
The Portuguese did bag his 126th goal of the competition to give the hosts the lead but Donny van Beek levelled just six minutes later before Matthijs de Ligt's winner in the second half.
Ronaldo was clearly devastated at full-time as he headed straight for the tunnel and his mother Dolores Aveiro admits the 34-year-old was gutted.
“He was sad, he wanted to go to the final,” said Maria Dolores Aveiro as quoted by Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
“He will try for the next one.
“What did he say to me? 'Mum, I don't work miracles…'”

Although I'm a Cule(Barca supporter), I'm feeling bad for him. Why? Juve totally depended on him. They totally shifted the pressure from individuals to Cristiano. Even the magicians can't perform their magic sometimes,so was the case with Cristiano. He did his part,with dignity and hard work. The last 5 goals for Juventus in UCL competition came from him. What more can you ask, literally defend? You're a defensive powerhouse, probably the team with the best defense in Europe but still keep conceding goals and when the goals scored by Cristiano isn't enough,you blame him? This club literally made fun of themselves and Cristiano's too. He deserved better, basically after he dragged Juve out of round of 16 and first leg.

fact is : cr7 with juve is more or less like messi is with Argentina... he saved single handedly juve from atletico... scoring a hattrick... also scored 2 goals for juve in 2 legs and yet didn't get any support from his teammates...
