OFFICIAL: Lucas Vazquez signs Real Madrid contract extension

Lucas Vazquez has signed a one-year contract extension at Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old’s previous deal expired at the end of June but the club have now confirmed he will remain in the Spanish capital for another year.

Vazquez made 38 appearances in all competitions for Madrid last season as the club won La Liga and the Champions League, making a late substitute cameo in the Champions League final victory over Borussia Dortmund.
