Robert Lewandowski emerges as target for Paris Saint-Germain

The ongoing soap opera involving Robert Lewandowski entered a new chapter on Saturday. PSG have joined Barcelona in their interest in the Polish player.

Having managed to retain Kylian Mbappe, the French champions are now looking to disrupt Barcelona's summer transfer plans, taking advantage of the instability of Lewandowski's position in Bavarian.

As reported on Saturday afternoon by L'Equipe, PSG believe he would be a great candidate to reinforce their attack, although the newspaper makes it clear that the transfer would be a complicated process.

PSG, according to the newspaper, believe that the arrival of the striker would add value to the squad and believe that he could be a great complement to the Messi-Mbappe-Neymar trio. In addition, they would bring in a player with a great ability to score goals.

However, it is public knowledge that Barcelona are pushing hard for the striker. They haven't concealed their interest and he is, as of today, their main target for this summer.

The player, in addition, has been insisting for many weeks that his time at Bayern has come to an end and has made a few overtures to the Catalan club.

However, and although Lewandowski is pushing for a move, the German side are adamant that the player has one more year left on his contract. Therefore, they will not let him leave at any price.
