The world of football is becoming more and more difficult to understand.
Real Madrid have built a policy of signing young players who could be stars to avoid paying truly barbaric fees once they make the grade.
We've seen it with Vinicius Junior, Reinier Jesus, Rodrygo Goes, Takefusa Kubo, Fede Valverde, Martin Odegaard, Andriy Lunin, Marco Asensio, Brahim Diaz, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo.
None of them have come through the club's youth academy, but they have been sought out as prospects who could become potential first-team players.
In some cases, they will triumph and in others not, but what doesn't have any explanation is that you have a player who has become a star in your youth system and you sell him.
Yes, it's the case of Achraf Hakimi, who is set to join Inter for 40 million euros and five million euros in add-ons.
Achraf came to Real Madrid as a kid, at only eight or nine years of age, passing through all of the youth team levels until reaching Los Blancos' first team.
When he started, he played as a centre-forward and that's where his finishing came from, then he became a right winger and, with Castilla, he was a promising right-back.
In his first year at Real Madrid, Achraf didn't feature regularly and he had to go on loan to Borussia Dortmund, where he has become one of the best right-backs in European football with speed, dribbling, good crossing and goals.
He's scored nine goals and provided 10 assists - which other full-back performs like that for a Champions League team? Not many.
Dani Carvajal, at the age of 28, is having an inconsistent year; he hasn't had competition and his starting role is assured.
Achraf would make him work, while he can also play on the left. That's why it's incomprehensible that Real Madrid are willingly allowing a 21-year-old with spectacular performances in the Bundesliga to leave.
A youngster who has come through the ranks, is from Madrid, doesn't count as a non-EU player and is free, unless there's something else to it... I don't understand Real Madrid's decision.
Then 50 million euros will be spent on a full-back worse than Achraf, a non-EU player who will need time to adapt to the club.
There are strange things in football, and in this Real Madrid. We will see if it's a serious mistake.

if he is really good we will sign him back.
we don't need a back close to buy any player that passed through the Castilla. For them it's a dream come true.eg. Mariano.

there's nothing Real could do about it. He knows that Real won't allow him to play all the matches because they already have a RB and he wants to play, so it's his decision not to stay at Real.

this is going to hurt madrid as long as hakimi plays football. he will be a great footballer

it's not a mistake if hakimi wants to play in first team of rma then right now it is occupied by carva who is defensively better than hakimi bt lacks in offensive area ,bt hakimi n his agent is insisting that hakimi will not wait on bench so to part ways happily with player selling him is right choice,

RM have already made a serious mistake. Clearly Zidane doesn't need him

I think it was the solution for Real Madrid. Hakim needs to play more and not to keep him on Carvajal's shadow

Perez sees talent, buys talent, send talent out on loan then finally sells talent. Welcome to the life of Perez.

Ashraf is great player and he make more records in bayeren, but did you ask your self the deference between real Madrid and bayeren Munich. if he (Ashraf) was returned to Madrid he did not get regular position at madrid so that was good deal for Ashraf himself. and real Madrid that didn't have a position for the star he was not the only star who is out of the team. there are many players like Alvaro, odrizola tekifusio kubo, Martin odigard, and more, all of them will maintain be out of the team as loan or would be sold, coz this is not a normal team this is dream team and they would return if they become dream stars at out. we produce we sold and we are always dream team. according to us (real madrid) it's easy to sell since we sold. m. ozil, kaylor navas, cristiano Ronaldo, angel Demaria, and more talnted players does real deed one of those players at this moment.? no but all of them would like to be real Madrid player again. HALA MADRID
I mean Dortmund

hakim is going nowhere, he is the one of the profitable right wing defender in the world, I don't want Madrid to sell him I want him to be in Madrid team next season because he can play both two position he can play as a right wing defender or center defender or full back

Well autty or whoever it's clear you're not privy to some things because - Madrid was ready to bring him back home but he said he wasn't ready to be a second choice to Dani - And besides he wasn't ready to play on loan again. - There'll be a possible buy-back clause in the contract. Madrid is not Barcelona to sell her future Stars to be replaced by an old paddie

If he turns out to be top class ...Real Madrid will buy him back for double this amount and they won't have problems ..they have all the money..
there is a buy back clause in the deal

madrid sold him because the most natural position in which Hakimi has really excelled in is as a WING BACK. and it that's very reason why Conte wants him because he perfectly fits his 3-5-2. many of his best performances have been in that position or being played a an out right winger. In the Madrid squad there isn't really a natural position for him as zidane favours 4 at the back. And come on guys regardless of the selling motives, Madrid for sure included a buyback clause.

if he is really good we will sign him back.
I agree, with a buy back clause.

I don't believe what I have just read. How can Madrid sell Hakimi[ko]
Cos he said he cannot be an understudy to Carvajal next season. Zidane wanted to keep him and loan/sell Odriozola next season, he refused. The good news is that neither Hakimi nor Real Madrid rule out a possible return in future.
