They are both great players but frankly speaking, looking at how Messi handles situations when the going gets tough for his team to the extend of being the player to score most goal from the bench and Ronaldo shining when his teams performance is good . I will conclude that Ronaldo only becomes a winner with the help of his team because he often scores with an assist from a teammate, from free kicks of teammates and penalties from teammates. But Messi on the other hand is the winner for the team because he can take on defenders and scores him self or create an assist for someone to score, he dribbles, create long passes, through balls , scores from free kicks etc. I think Messi can do anything on the pitch except defensive duty and areal challenges where he is weak. In conclusion I say Messi is the GOAT of football with great respect to all the other player who have graced the game
