According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cristiano Ronaldo was the first player to beak the Juventus bubble last weekend. CR7 was furious and believed it was not fair to don’t allow him to join his National team to face Spain.
The Old Lady had to create a ‘bubble’ at the J Hotel, meters away from the training center La Continassa, after that two people of the external staff had tested positive for Covid this past Saturday.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Ronaldo didn’t agree to remain at the J Hotel for several days as that would prevent him from playing a friendly game against Spain with Portugal.
Ronaldo and the rest of the team had already had two negative swab tests but, as per the FIGC protocol, they needed one more in the following days in order to be allowed to leave the fiduciary isolation at the J Hotel.
CR7 reportedly raised his voice in front of the club’s directors and his team-mates and decided to leave the Allianz Stadium dressing room, where the team had arrived on Sunday evening to face Napoli that didn’t show up.
Ronaldo went home to sleep with his family prior to leaving for Portugal and join his National team the following day.
The likes of Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, Danilo, Rodrigo Bentancur and Merih Demiral followed Cristiano Ronaldo’s path and joined their national teams while Gigi Buffon went home.
The Bianconeri promptly informed the ASL members who confirmed they received the report directly from the club and they will notify the Prosecutor’s Office with the names of the players who have left the isolation.
The rest of the team remained in the bubble until Wednesday, when the fiduciary isolation at the J Hotel ended and all the player were allowed to go home.

La Gazzetta dello sport is the worst Italian newspaper. Always has an agenda against Juventus by twisting words and manipulating public.

Though he broke the rule , I think he did the right thing. Sometimes rules must be unfollowed. Well done CR7 . 👏👏💯
