120 La Liga players could depart their clubs with 6 games to go

As many as 120 La Liga football players will see their current deals draw to a close on June 30 with six games to go until the end of the season.

Some teams such as Eibar, Espanyol or Real Mallorca could be particularly affected as a significant number of players may depart before the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

There are some LaLiga Santander clubs who have already asked their squad members if they want to continue until July 19.

When they are given the green light from a loan player, they'll contact the parent clubs which could immediately agree or ask for extra money to let their players stay until the season ends.

Perhaps the most noteworthy case is that of Ezequiel Garay who has yet to agree on a contract renewal with Valencia.

Negotiations for numerous players are still open, with most of them being afraid of a potential injury in the remainder of the season.
