Liverpool supporters are finally having to accept that this is not going to be a busy transfer summer for the recently crowned European champions.
Having gone big last summer and brought in Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri - shortly after the arrival of Virgil van Dijk - it appears as though Liverpool are focusing more on looking after the players they already have rather than splashing the cash on megastars who could upset the balance of the squad.
Jurgen Klopp also has plenty of good young players that he'll want to to introduce to the squad over pre-season, including the recently signed Dutch centre-back Sepp van den Berg.
And he and others could well be seen in the first-team before the end of the campaign.
Rhian Brewster
We'll start with one of the club's worst kept secrets.
Brewster's name is one that has been doing the rounds in corridors of power at Anfield and Melwood for a while now, and the reason we haven't seen him in the first-team just yet it is only due to injury.
An unused substitute in the Champions League wins over Barcelona and Tottenham , the 19-year-old forward was treated like a first-team player last season, and it will be fascinating to see him in this summer.
Ki-Jana Hoever
The only one of the five to play a senior game for the Reds, Hoever's experience of the FA Cup third round clash at Wolves in January at the age of 16 is sure to stand him in good stead going forward.
Anfield and Academy staff are amazed by the young Dutchman's calmness and ability on the ball, and after starring for the Dutch at this summer's successful under-17s European Championships he'll be desperate for another first-team taste.
Sepp van den Berg
The Dutch teenager is the youngest, freshest face at Liverpool after completing his transfer from PEC Zwolle this week.
It may be a while before the 17-year-old gets to see some first-team action, but having beaten off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich for his signature, the Reds might well have promised him some game-time before the end of the campaign.
Adam Lewis
With Alberto Moreno having left and Liverpool needing a backup left-back to Andy Robertson, there have been plenty of suggestions that scouser Lewis could take on that role.
The 19-year-old signed a new long-term deal in February, and despite recent concerns about form it would be no surprise if he got a League Cup game or two in the upcoming season.
Paul Glatzel
Glatzel's similarly prolific strike partner Bobby Duncan is also worth a mention here, but having signed his first pro deal towards the end of the season and captained the Reds to FA Youth Cup success, it could well be that forward Glatzel is ahead of him in the pecking order.
The hard-working 18-year-old - who was born in Liverpool to German parents - has earned comparisons with Roberto Firmino and Dirk Kuyt due to his selfless nature.

I am very sure Klopp knows what he is doing. He came to Anfield worked with players that were there and reached Europa cup final, tuned up the attack philosophy brand in 1st full season with UCL qualification followed by front three tweaking in the 2nd season to make them most dangerous in EPL and Europe reaching the UCL final. 3rd season Klopp sorted the final puzzle THE DEFENSIVE UNIT the envy of all who understand football!! What a tactician in three season we had UCL championship & enough EPL points to win the title in any other ordinary season THAT IS SMART Management from the current best manager in world. Let’s relax and enjoy the rollercoaster ride. YNWW

I don't like the fact that Camacho is leaving. I have seen him perform in some few minutes, he is really good.

Glatzel is good but Bobby Duncan is just better. It was Duncan who saved in that FA Youth Cup final with an outrageous left footed strike.

These teenagers are good.... But not at this time... When we need the title... These lads won't stand the heat to the end.... We need to add some good I mean good players... At least 2 or 3 players.

It is like we love to come 2nd to city, they got 100 points and spent last season, they beat us while we lost ONE game this whole season and are still going to spend, then we have our board twiddling their thumbs looking like morons and trying to depend on bloody 17 yr old kids to wrestle the title off man city. We will DEFINITELY come 2nd to city again and we deserve what's coming, none of you fans that are approving this rubbish should come back to cry when city win the league again. Absolute joke.
It’s Edward’s excellent scouting that got us this far. This Summer isn’t the Summer for big money signings, that’s okay. We will spend big next Summer, trust me.

if kloop really want to develop young player to transform into star so they should be kamil grabara replace simon mignolet as alisson backup adam lewis replace alberto moreno as roberston backup sepp van der berg as option cb alongside virgil van dijk ki-jana hoever replace nathaniel clyne as trent alexander arnold backup but this all such like gamble for liverpool because we are at competitive league

Liverpool needs strong backups and should not absolutely rely on the teenagers if they are to be more competitive come next season. To me I think the young boys can join the senior team gradually,Steven Wakooli,Uganda.YWNWA.
