The Premier League season is not yet finished but that hasn't stopped transfer speculation from running rife
The summer transfer window will soon be upon us. As ever, it promises to be a busy one for Premier League clubs.
With the top-flight season nearing a conclusion, sides will soon turn their attention to recruitment. This summer will be a disjointed one thanks to the World Cup, so it appears a host of teams will be looking to get their business done early.
Manchester United have been linked with a Premier League defender and both Arsenal and Liverpool are allegedly set to battle it out for a £74million talent. Mirror Football brings you a round-up of the latest transfer rumours and speculation.
United interested in Forest star
Neco Williams has enjoyed a stellar season for Nottingham Forest, but as the club reportedly opens new contract talks, BBC Sport say United, along with Newcastle, Aston Villa and Everton, have made enquiries about the Welshman.
Ex-Liverpool player Williams has made 51 appearances so far this campaign for Forest, and the Wales left-back has three years remaining on his current deal at the City Ground.
Premier League exit confirmed
Should Tottenham remain in the Premier League, it has been reported that they'd be in the running to snap up Bournemouth star Marcos Senesi.
Roberto De Zerbi's side has been handed a boost in this potential pursuit as it has been confirmed that Senesi will leave the Cherries this summer. Liverpool were also mentioned as a potential destination but are believed to not be interested in the 29-year-old.
Anthony Gordon exit hint
Anthony Gordon's future has been the subject of much speculation recently and Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has hinted that he may soon be seeking pastures new as he continues to be linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
In his press conference on Friday, the manager said: "When you get to this stage of the season, part of what we will be doing is looking to next year, naturally. There are discussions that potentially might be happening [talks with Bayern regarding Gordon's future] but not with me."
Liverpool defender has two suitors
The Daily Mail reports that both AC Milan and Besiktas are interested in signing Liverpool defender Joe Gomez. The Englishman has been linked with a move to Milan since last summer.
Gomez's Reds contract expires in 2027 and he has hinted that this upcoming window could be the one during which he waves Anfield goodbye.
Arsenal to rival Liverpool for £74m midfielder
Liverpool could be very active in the summer window and The Sun claims that they'll rival Arsenal for the signature of Porto midfield star Victor Froholdt.
It is reported that the 20-year-old Denmark international has a £74m release clause in his contract and alongside Liverpool and the Gunners, Newcastle and United are thought to be keeping tabs.
Chelsea's shot-stopper target
Robert Sanchez has caught plenty of flak for his performances in goal for Chelsea this season and AC Milan's Mike Maignan, who is no stranger to Blues speculation, has emerged as a summer target again.
That's according to Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that Chelsea will return to the France international in the summer, having missed out on him almost 12 months ago.
Julian Alvarez linked with £87m move
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez could soon be on his way to Champions League finalists Paris Saint-Germain.
A transfer fee of £87m has been mooted and the ex-Manchester City striker has bagged 20 goals and nine assists this season. Barcelona and Arsenal are thought to be the other interested parties.
