'A debut I dreamed about' - Riqui Puig happy with first game & first assist

It was a special night for Barcelona's Riqui Puig, as the youngster made his first team debut against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey, something he described as a dream come true.

A lot has already been written about Puig, but on the strength of his cameo performance, you can understand why.

"It's a debut I dreamed about," Puig said to reporters after the game.

"A win and an assist on top of how well the team played.

"I used to come to the Camp Nou when I was three years old, imagining what it would be like to play here.

"Ernesto has given me the opportunity and the reality is a dream come true."
