The International Champions Cup is well underway by now and a theme of this summer's edition is that some of the young talent at the biggest clubs are grasping their opportunities and making a name for themselves in front of big audiences. Here we look at the ten best performers.
Christopher Nkunku: Paris Saint-Germain / 20 / France
Arguably the most impressive PSG player this summer in the absence of their biggest stars, Nkunku has shown that he can play on either flank but also as the playmaker for the French giants. His technique allows him to pop up almost anywhere and impact on the game.
Timothy Weah: PSG / 18 / United States
With Africa's only Ballon d'Or winner as his father, Timothy Weah was always going to have a high level of expectation on his head and so far he appears to be up to the challenge of following in George's footsteps.
He has lightning pace and an ability to drive into space but can also play with his back to goal and link up attacks for his team.
Andrea Favilli: Juventus / 21 / Italy
Two goals against Bayern Munich announced him to the watching world and the Pisa-born forward is a threat in the box who has a sharp eye for goal. With Gonzalo Higuain moving on, there might be a spot in Massimiliano Allegri's plans for the 21-year-old this season.
Callum Hudson-Odoi: Chelsea / 17 / England
Maurizio Sarri has already used him twice this summer and the Italian confirmed he will remain at the London club for the course of the coming season having already made his Premier League debut last term under Antonio Conte.
Hudson-Odoi is a skilful playmaker with great technique and an unstoppable dribbling ability. At the moment, it appears as though Sarri's ideal place for him is on the left wing.
Ethan Ampadu: Chelsea / 17 / Wales
Easily mistaken for David Luiz because of his striking hair, Ampadu is hard to overlook when on the pitch as a defender who can also operate in defensive midfield due to his comfort and composure in possession, making him stand out from the old fashioned view of British defenders.
He is quick to read situations, anticipate play and to cut out attacks, and appears to have experience beyond his years.
Alfa Semedo: Benfica / 20 / Guinea-Bissau
Yet another to emerge from Benfica's production line, Semedo was on loan last season and impressed so much that the club splashed out 2 million euros to bring him back. He has not started this summer, but featured three times and this could be a big season for him.
Eddie Nketiah: Arsenal / 19 / England
Unai Emery has already shown his trust in the youngster this summer and he is a forward who can battle it out with any defender, as he as demonstrated for some time at underage level with Arsenal.
Eric Garcia: Manchester City / 17 / Spain
Pep Guardiola has trusted him to play every minute of this ICC and he has all of the qualities that the former Barcelona boss looks for in a player. He is clever, technically gifted and knows when to move the ball on as well as knowing how to position himself defensively.
Riqui Puig: Barcelona / 18 / Spain
Given minutes by Ernesto Valverde this summer, Puig is looking to follow in the footsteps of Xavi and there will be comparisons for the La Masia product. He is a typical Barcelona-type player and will likely feature at points in the season to come.
Matteo Guendouzi: Arsenal / 19 / France
The Gunners have been busy this summer but Guendouzi's arrival had slipped under the radar and he could prove to be their best bit of business if the ICC is anything to go by, in which he has shone brighter than anyone else for the Premier League side. He is box-to-box, physical, but can also be creative when afforded the opportunity.

Very true this set of youngsters really performed well which I'm very sure Callum Hudson-Odoiπ will make the first team and others too like PSG Nkunku. They've really performed well some will even be star players in the near future as said by Sarri on Callum Hudson-Odoi's performance

All have been impressive but guendouzi mateo has been phenomenon, his composure on the ball and the way he dictates the game is eye catching thus this boy is a big deal and a top class player for the future, he is not afraid to demonstrate his industry and the his end product is fantastic it remains mine of the little Cesc when arsenal was playing man united on his debut in the community Shield thus arsenal went on to win it 3-1 but also this boy he has bigger chances to make his debut against Manchester City

Coached him and played against him when he was 14/15 at Exeter. The maturity he shows on the pitch is there for all to see but the way he communicates with his teammates through every minute of the game is under appreciated, itβs not difficult to see why heβs gone so far already.
