AC Milan hero Alessandro Nesta has called on the club's new owners to get serious about transfer policy.
Since taking charge, RedBird Capital have spent little on Stefano Pioli's squad.
Nesta said, "Milan have had many problems this season. A lot of injuries and new players who haven't done well.
"You can't do miracles every season. The budget is reduced and you can't always buy players like (Rafael) Leao and Theo (Hernandez). It is normal to make mistakes.
"The owners should invest more, knowing that what they spend would be repaid."
