Adidas & New Balance release custom boots for Salah & Mane Afcon campaigns

MO SALAH and Sadio Mane have received custom boots ahead of the start of their Africa Cup of Nations campaigns.

Liverpool duo Salah and Mane, both 29, will compete in the international tournament for Egypt and Senegal respectively.

And they will be hoping they can light up the tournament with their incredible new footwear.

Salah has a deal with Adidas who have produced a gold and red boot for him to wear.

The shoe has 'MO' marked into the back of the left boot and a crown marked into the back of the right.

Meanwhile, Mane's deal with New Balance has seem them customise a fiery orange and blue shoe for him to showcase at the Cup of Nations.

The laces read: "The Lion Roars: Sadio Mane" in reference to Senegal's nickname "The Lions of Teranga".

There is also several illustrations of Mane celebrating on the soul of the shoe along with the caption: "The Lion Roars".

And a lion is also present on the heel as it relates to the Senegalese national team.

Senegal get their Cup of Nations campaign underway on Monday when they take on Zimbabwe.

And Egypt then begin with their first match of the tournament when they face Nigeria on Tuesday.

Salah has scored a sensational 45 goals in 73 games for his country over the course of a decade.

But he is yet to win the competition - narrowly missing out in 2017 when Egypt were beaten 2-1 by Cameroon in the final.

Meanwhile, Mane has netted 26 times in 80 games since making his Senegal debut in 2012.

But he suffered the same fate as Salah in 2019 when Senegal were beaten 1-0 by Algeria in the final.
