Agent: Firmino won't negotiate pre-contract terms out of respect to Liverpool

The agent of Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino says he has no new club lined up for next season.

Roger Wittmann has confirmed reports that Firmino will leave Liverpool this summer when his deal expires.

"Our plan for the coming weeks - this is Roberto's plan - is to show the coach and Liverpool the best version of Firmino, to say goodbye. That's what he wants to do," said Wittman to Football Insider.

"He has no idea what awaits next. He has always said that he does not want to talk to other clubs when we negotiated with Liverpool.

"This is the first time he will be a 'free agent', but he said there was no need to talk to other clubs."
