Aguero arrives in Barcelona and spends 500,000 euros on a Ferrari

He may only have just arrived on a free transfer from Manchester City, but Sergio Aguero is already beginning to feel at home at Barcelona.

It's no surprise, given the 500,000 euros that he spent on buying a Ferrari SF90 Stradale. It's the first hybrid car from the Italian manufacturer, enabling Aguero to plug his car in to electric charging points.

Aguero is a big fan of cars, having gifted a Range Rover to Manchester City staff and leaving a Lamborghini behind in England.

"In 2014 I spent 1.5 million dollars on a Lamborghini Aventador, drunk, I don't know why I bought it," he confessed.

"It must have done 1,200 kilometres in six years, I barely used it, I just spent two years thinking why did I buy this car.

"Now all it does is get cold in the rain, it's got cobwebs and everything."

The Argentinian returns to Spain having previously played for Atletico Madrid, but clearly needed to add to his car collection on the Iberian peninsula.
