Sergio Aguero took his mind off Manchester City's agonising Champions League quarter-final exit with a family lunch out at La Famiglia restaurant in Hale Village.
The striker played the whole match as the reigning Premier League champions were eliminated on away goal after a 4-4 aggregate draw against Tottenham.
The striker grabbed his team's fourth goal of the night to put them ahead in the second half, only for Fernando Llorente to hand Spurs the advantage with 20 minutes left.
Yet, with second left, Aguero squared for Raheem Sterling to grab what appeared to be a late winner, only for the strike to be ruled out by VAR for an offside against Man City's record scorer.
Dressed in an all-black tracksuit and clutching his phone and keys, the striker looked relaxed as he pulled up in his £250,000 Ferrari.
Despite the devastating defeat, which ended the club's hopes of an unprecedented treble, Aguero has enjoyed a fine personal season with 30 goals in just 41 games.
Man City have already secured one trophy, with Aguero converting his penalty in the League Cup shoot-out win over Chelsea in February.
They are also fighting to retain their Premier League title, currently two points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand.
Aguero and his team-mates will have an immediate opportunity for revenge when they play Tottenham in the league on Saturday.
With so much at stake, a game that could go a long way to deciding the fate of the title race.
