Ajax star David Neres has refused to rule out a summer transfer

David Neres has refused to rule out a summer transfer amid interest from Liverpool and Arsenal .

The Ajax youngster is enjoying a fine season and has scored 12 times and provided eight assists in all competitions.

Neres has helped Ajax to the semi-finals of the Champions League while they are just two matches away from winning the Eredivisie title.

His form has attracted interest from across Europe with Liverpool and Arsenal keen, as well as Premier League rivals Everton .

Neres, who is contracted until 2022, was asked about his future following Ajax's victory over Vitesse earlier this week.

"I have to see what is best for me, for my career and my family," the Brazilian told Voetbal Primeur.

"We will see what the future holds, but I have a contract here and I am satisfied here."

Reports this week suggested Everton were among a number of clubs to have opened talks with Ajax over a £43.5m deal for the forward.

Roma and Borussia Dortmund are also thought to be keeping tabs on the situation.

Neres is the latest Ajax star to attract interest from other clubs following their excellent run to the last four of the Champions League.

Frenkie de Jong will be a Barcelona player this summer and countryman Matthijs de Ligt has been tipped to follow him, although Manchester United are also keen.

The Ajax skipper has had an outstanding campaign and was influential in their quarter-final success over Juventus , but gave nothing away after being pushed for an answer on his future.

Arsenal are interested in left-back Nicolas Tagliafico while there are a number of clubs monitoring Hakim Ziyech.
