Jack Grealish was an unused substitute against Liverpool and his day will have probably got a little worse after a stat began to do the rounds on social media after the game.
Mo Salah scored the only goal of the game as Liverpool secured a huge win over the reigning champions.
The Egyptian went through on goal after taking down a long ball from goalkeeper Alisson and made no mistake with the finish.
The goal means that Alisson now has two assists in the Premier League since the turn of the year after setting up Salah's goal in the 3-1 home win against Norwich in February.
both assists were similar, Salah also taking down a long ball and scoring on that occasion.
Grealish, meanwhile, has managed just one Premier League assist this year.
That's a rather damning number for an attacking midfielder that cost £100m.
Grealish discussed the criticism he's faced after scoring against Wolves last month. He said: 'Rightly so [I deserve the criticism], I should be scoring more, I should be getting more assists. The only thing I can do is score and get assists.
'I'm always going to have people talking about me with the amount I got bought for but I think if you look at my whole career I probably haven't scored as much as certain people, even when I was at Aston Villa I think I only scored 14 or 15 goals over two seasons in the Premier League.
'It's something that I do want to add to my game and playing with this team and in front of these fans hopefully I can.'

Grealish style is never a good fit for MC. Too much booze in his head that he cannot think and act fast enough on the ball. He always slows down MC attacking rhythm and ruin the flow of MC play. Only useful when MC are winning comfortably and needs such a player to run down the clock!!!

all im trying to tell you is that you don't have to be up to messi standard in taking on players , scoring and assist in whatsoever team you are before people know you are a good player
okay!but I used Messi because he is the best in this standard, not that others are not there!

he rightly deserved all the criticism that comes his way,he is a good player but the mentality with which he started at Aston villa is stagnating his progress,he wants to dribble and score which is very difficult in a big club, only Messi does that consistently well,he need to be a team player and learn from de bruyne, He should have been neck to neck with de bruyne on assist charts if he have shedded his one army brigandage, take on a player beat him pass to a teammate who is well positioned to score instead of doing it all and fail!!

Not only messi, neymar, young cr7, hazard at Chelsea, salah, and a lot more, they did that and still get goals and assist, man is just overhyped...he's not been trolled enough cause of city success, if he was in United that wouldn't be the case
others can do it but Messi takes it to another level, otherwise I agree with you!
