Sofyan Amrabat is still none the wiser as to whether Manchester United will turn his loan move into a permanent one.
The Morocco international, 27, joined the Red Devils on loan in the summer following months of speculation and the deal which United struck with Fiorentina includes an option to sign the playmaker permanently for £21million.
While Amrabat has made 21 Premier League appearances for United this season, just 10 of those were starts and, like other many others, it currently remains to be seen whether or not he will be at Old Trafford next year.
Despite the uncertainty over his future, Amrabat produced a fine display in the FA Cup final as United beat Manchester City 2-1 at Wembley - and he then seemingly refused to shut the door on a permanent transfer post-match.
During an interview with Ziggo Sport, Amrabat was asked about his future and replied: "Do I already know what I’m going to do next year? No. We are going to talk.
"Staying is certainly an option. Look, I think it has been a very difficult season. For Manchester United it needs to be much better, and also for me personally."
Manchester United are expected to be active in the summer transfer market with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos at the helm, however, recent reports have indicated that the club are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal for Amrabat.
If that does prove to be the case then Amrabat will have his contract at Fiorentina extended for another year due to a secret clause which was agreed upon prior to his Old Trafford switch. Italian outlet Il Tirreno outlined back in September that Fiorentina insisted upon such a clause in order to protect the midfielder's market value.
Amrabat went on to admit that the period at the start of his loan, where he filled in at left-back, was difficult before reiterating transfer talks would take place soon. He said: "That wasn’t easy. I have always remained calm and trained very hard. Ultimately, that patience has been rewarded.
"We are going to talk. Manchester United are the biggest club in the world, so who wouldn’t want to play football here? But all parties have to be happy with each other, so we will sit down now and see what happens."

What do you guy think if we still had pogba Casemiro and Bruno in midfield

we need an experience back up since Casemero is going

Clearly if Casemiro moves on, we will need another defensive midfielder, which will not be Amrabat. He may however be good to have around as a reserve for depth reasons

Amrabat yes but not our coach!! Dont be blinded by some of those matches the boys play well and yu think it's the coach's tactics in pay, a BIG NO! If you could recall, all those matches we have played well or at least tried are only rivalry matches and diring rivalry matches, the boys just bring up their best by default not to shame their club's reputation and theirs as well. If yu are too blind to admit to that, then in some way you are suggesting that the coach only instils his tactics better when we have a rivalry match and when the match is done, then there is no need to teach the players do better bcz their are match days where he was able to have the same squad but the boys still play bogus football even against lower table teams. If yu think I am wrong, prove me wrong with stats
so in your own words and observation the players do their best to win matches when facing rival clubs in order to preserve the club and their names. if they lose its the coaches tactics which are wrong😂😂😂😂 you're just amazing my guy who told you that nonsense. you think those boys like it when they're butchered Crystal palace?do you know the impact of having more than 65 injuries to your first team players? you think you can consistently win matches with such injury records in a season? this man has just won us 2 trphies in 2 seasons after 5 years of drought. just remove that being a CR7 fan and be a Manchester United fan you'll see the reality of the goings on at the club

to me I will keep saying it a coach that will sub Mainoo for Erickson is not a good coach ...... Erickson should play up front no as a CDM or DM but the coach kept trying this nonsense and he keep failing untill when this are out of control....he kept on using Antony instead of giving Amad chance untill last four or five matches he keeps on using mctominy as AM instead of Erickson and many other choices of players, he coach the players as if they didn't do training together

MU should release him - he's a risky player - slow & commits fouls easily in dangerous situations !

For other matches like the Europa league, FA cup, and league cup, yes, Amrabat is ok, but for the EPL, there is no way he is too sluggish with his play. he did well against the city, but I don't like the way he carries the ball too easy to lose the ball and not fast enough for the EPL.

The thing is not about coach as far as there are still average players in the squad new coach that' comes in now will want money to buy players that suit his plans and tactics and sacking ETH now they will pay him off, but we should not lie when he have his squad intact united plays well, my opinion is they should give him one more year and support him in the transfer until INEOS settle down ...just look at Arteta too
I am not saying we dont have a problem of average players, yes we do but it's the same players who gave Arsenal a run for the three points and now they have beaten mighty Man City but not forgetting that the same players lost at Burnly, Sheffield, Luton, crystal place, brentford... the list goes on and had to wait until extra time to overcome Coventry and the small team that plays below Coventry if yu recall. which player in that team should face a rough time in overcoming a league two or league one team for christ sake!! so at the end of it all who is the problem, the players or their mentor, prove me otherwise with stats and not just siding with a coach bcz yu love him
