Ansu Fati reveals his best teammate and a top five with Cristiano Ronaldo and Victor Valdes

Ansu Fati has revealed that Eric Garcia was the teammate who has always helped him improve when the two prodigies coincided in La Masia.

It should not be ruled out that Fati and Garcia will re-join forces at Barcelona in summer, when the latter's contract with Manchester City will come to an end.

"Eric Garcia," replied Fati, when Barcelona's official website asked who his best teammate has been.

"We have grown up together from young. We've played together and he helped me get better. He was very hard to dribble past, and we've been 'at war' since we were kids.

"We've played together for Spain too; we were always dreaming as kids."

When asked to pick his top five football superstars, Fati mentioned the Barcelona captain Lionel Messi along with some surprising names.

"That would be Victor Valdes, [Carles] Puyol, Xavi [Hernandez] or [Andres] Iniesta, Messi and Cristiano [Ronaldo]," responded Fati.

Fati went on to reveal that his primary objective since the day he arrived at La Masia was to make it to Barcelona's first team.

"It was my dream to play for FC Barcelona from the day I arrived here," added Fati.

"My aim was always to make the senior team and I worked hard enough to do it. Every kid that comes to La Masia has the same goal. I just wanted to get as far as I could."
