Former Roma goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli claims Mattia Perin or Gianluigi Donnarumma and not Robin Olsen should have replaced Alisson.
Olsen has already conceded seven goals in his first four games for Roma, while Antonioli kept goal for the Giallorossi during their Scudetto-winning season of 2000-01.
“They were two beautiful evenings and things that you dream of as a kid,” the 48-year-old told Corriere della Sera, referring to when he helped the Lupi beat Real Madrid and draw with them at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League.
“Olsen? I watched him for Sweden, he seems like a good goalkeeper and in Italy he can get even better.
“Who would I have signed? It’s always a safe bet when you sign an Italian. Perin or Donnarumma would’ve been the ideal replacements for Alisson.”
