Arsenal Player of the Month nominees for September: Raya, Ødegaard, Guimarães, Konsa

September 30 – Arsenal officially announced the nominations for the club's Player of the Month award for September.

Raya:

He performed at his best, helping the team secure three points in September against Sunderland and Chelsea. In the 2-1 victory over Chelsea, he made a superb save in stoppage time, denying Estêvão's shot.

Later, at the Stadium of Light, he made another brilliant save, stopping a Sunderland penalty. Both saves earned nominations for the Premier League Save of the Month, fully demonstrating his importance to the team's success this season.

Ødegaard:

He was a key factor in the team's success in September, helping the team take the lead after a flowing team move in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea at the Emirates early in the month.

Three days later, he scored the winning goal against Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo, securing a 1-0 victory for the team and taking his goal tally to four, more than his total for the entire 2024-25 season.

Guimarães:

He came off the bench at halftime against Sunderland and broke the deadlock with a brilliant goal, opening the scoring for the team. He then started in the EFL Cup third round match against Ipswich Town, helping the team to a 4-2 victory.

Konsa:

Ezri made his first start for the team in September, partnering Gabriel, and helped the team to a 2-1 victory over Chelsea. His brilliant sliding tackle to dispossess former teammate Morgan Rogers earned a huge cheer from the Emirates crowd. He then helped the team keep clean sheets in the Champions League against Napoli and in the Premier League against Sunderland.
